I’m told my are up artist, skin care specialists and generally just lovely people who say I have great clear skin! I hold my hands up and say most of it is genetic but there are a couple of things I use which I think helps me out a little. I’m pretty lazy when it comes to skin care so I want things that are easy to use and work quickly. Not too much to ask is it? One of the best things I ever tried was micellar water as a cleanser. It’s been the best thing for my face. Ever. It (almost) completely replaced my shoddy face wipes and is so easy to use. I feel like it really cleans my face with no need to rinse, hooray! The only thing I’ve found is that my forehead seems to be getting a little dry when I use it. Because of this, when I saw that Embryolisse had a Micellar Lotion I wanted to give it a go to see if the extra derma-cosmetic that they are famous for would make a difference.
One of the things I appreciate about Embryolisse is the simple packaging. No bells or whistles here, it’s almost like they let the product do the talking. Embryolisse Micellar Lotion contains – ”micelles (gentle cleansing agents) in solution in cornflower, camomile and witch-hazel water, combined with glycerin to soften, soothe and tone the skin. ” which explains why it feels really soft on my skin. It cleans like standard micellar water but feels kinda on my skin, a little more nourishing and leaves it feeling REALLY soft. It has a light, powdery, baby lotion type fragrance to it. Hardly noticeable but it’s there.
As I expected it cleaned my skin incredibly well, living in London means my face battles dirt and grime constantly. My face feels smooth and soft, where when I use other micellar waters it still has a small amount of stickiness to it. The cotton pad above is actually pretty gross but shows you what Embryolisse Micellar Lotion cleans off my face AFTER I think my face is clean! The biggest thing for me is that it seems to moisturise my skin too rather than making it feel stark naked. So all together a great product. I’d definitely recommend if you have sensitive or irritable skin and if you want a super easy skin care saviour.
