I was going to talk about Joe Browns in my Father’s Day gift guide, but I decided I wanted to talk about them a little more so have given them a dedicated blog post. Why? I hear you ask! Well, there are a few reasons. Firstly, as well as great menswear wardrobe staples, they also do women’s plus size clothing. Hooray! So they get my thumbs up straight away. Plus, if I’m totally honest, Chiino looks great in their clothes and I wanted to share him on the blog for a change, especially as Father’s Day is coming up!
Chiino hasn’t worn Joe Browns before (I have haha) so I know he was a little sceptical (I wasn’t!). But the laid back casual vibes really work for him. The mixture of wardrobe staples that never go out of fashion to simple pieces that tick the on-trend box. He is wearing size Large and the pieces fit perfectly. Probably a little oversized if anything, which is a good thing because sometimes things come up short on him.
I know this year’s Father’s Day is a little bit different, not being able to go out and celebrate, and I need to get my act together and sort out some Father’s day gifts rather sharpish! Lockdown has made everything seem irrelevant and distant. But we will still be making the effort this Fathers Day. I hope he knows just how amazing me and the boys think he is. He is the best dad anyone could ask for. I KNOW that EVERYONE says that, but on this occasion he really is. His patience and all the time he puts into the boys is admirable. He does everything with and for them. They adore him and both boys are definitely daddies boys. It’s like they’re all the best of friends and I can’t wait to see them grow up together as the ultimate squad goals.
